Food Tip
Pack food in a cooler with ice or ice packs. Only pack foods which have been chilled to a temperature below 40 degrees F - do not use the cooler to chill room temperature foods. When finished serving cold foods, promptly return them to the cooler. If you plan to cook meat, poultry or fish on a grill while picnicking, pack carefully to prevent leakage, and take along baby wipes or moistened towelettes to wash up with after handling raw foods. A spray bottle filled with clean water and soap is another alternative - this works well for hands as well as surfaces.

Truths are first clouds; then rain, then harvest and food

Henry Ward Beecher

Spicy Pork Strips Directions

Slice pork into 1/4" thick strips, about 4" long. Thread onto metal or
bamboo skewers, keeping meat as flat as possible. Arrange skewers in
large shallow pan. Blend soy sauce, green onions, sugar, sesame seed,
water, ginger, pepper sauce and garlic, stirring until sugar
dissolves. Pour mixture evenly over skewers; turn to coat all sides.
Let stand 30 minutes, turning skewers over occasionally. Reserving
marinade, remove skewers and place on rack of broiler pan; brush with
reserved marinade. Broil 3 minutes, or until pork is tender, turning
once and basting with additional marinade.
