2 tbsp sugar
100 ml cider vinegar

Dilled Green Bean Salad Directions

Steam the beans until tender but still crisp - 3-4 minutes. Cool and
put them in the bottom of a glass dish. Add the crushed garlic, dill
sprigs and seeds, and mustard seeds. In a saucepan combine the sugar,
vinegar, salt and a little water, and bring to the boil. Pour the
mixture over the beans and leave to cool. Chill it overnight, covered.
