3 cup pinto beans, cooked/mashed
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup bread crumbs, finely ground
1/4 cup minced onion
1/4 cup quick oatmeal
3 tsp egg replacer mixed with
4 tbsp water, beat til frothy
1 fresh ground pepper to taste
1/4 cup catsup or barbeque sauce

Using Marjoram:
Only the leaves of the marjoram plant are used and are available both fresh and dried. Very similar to oregano, marjoram carries a sweeter, milder flavor. Marjoram makes a great addition to almost any meat or vegetable dish.







Pinto Bean Loaf Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients, except
catsup, in a large bowl. Mix well. Turn into a non-stick loaf pan,
9-1/4 x 5-1/4 x 3, and flatten.
Spread catsup or BBQ sauce over the top. Bake for 45 minutes. NOTE:
Makes a good sandwich spread when cold.
