1 12" baguette
In a small food processor or blender puree the garlic and the
gingerroot with the butter until the mixture is smooth. Cut the
baquette lengthwise with a serrated knife, spread the butter mixture
onto the cut sides of the baguette, and broil the baguette, cut sides
up, under a preheated broiler about 4 inches from heat for 3 minutes,
or until the tops are golden brown. Serves 4.
