Mix oats and bran flaes with boiling water, mix and let cool.
Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water.
Beat remaining water, salt, molasses, shortening and oat/bran mixture
until very smooth. Mix in dissolved yeast. Mix in enough flour to
make a firm, not hard, ball. Let rise until double in size, punch
down and knead to get bubbles out. Put in greased loaf pans and let
rise again until double.
Bake at 350~ to 375~ until done.
