Raw food can be contaminated by microorganisms that can make you ill (particularly the young and the elderly) Most of these hazards can be controlled by safer food handling procedures, but the occurrence of foodborne illness tells us that risk reduction, at every step from farm to table, is very important







Holiday Cheese Ball Directions

1 c Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 c Grated Mild Colby Cheese
1/2 c Grated Parmesan Cheese
8 oz Cream Cheese
1 TB Milk
1 sm Clove Garlic -- crushed
: Or 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
: ds Salt
: ds Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 c Chopped Nuts
: (Walnuts/Pecans/Sesame
: Seeds)

Have all ingredients at 60 degrees for easier mixing. Combine all
ingredients except nuts. Form into ball or log and roll in nuts. (You
may need to chill before forming into ball or log.) Refrigerate until
used. Serve with crackers, ray veggies or fresh fruit. These also
make lovely holidy gifts. You can color the coating by adding mild
paprika or chopped parsley with the nuts.
