There are three possible parts to a date, of which at least two must be offered: entertainment, food, and affection. It is customary to begin a series of dates with a great deal of entertainment, a moderate amount of food, and the merest suggestion of affection. As the amount of affection increases, the entertainment can be reduced proportionately. When the affection IS the entertainment, we no longer call it dating. Under no circumstances can the food be omitted. |

Food Tip |
Work flour together with cheese until cheese is well-coated. Add
sugar, salt, baking powder and soda.
Make a well in mixture; pour in buttermilk and oil, mix. Add more
flour if too wet and soft, or if too dry, add more buttermilk. Mix
thoroughly, but no more than you have to. If right consistency, will
hold its shape.
Spoon out onto greased cookie sheet 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart. Bake
between 425 to 450 degrees F. about 25 minutes.
