In 2 qt saucepan, combine water, butter, oregano, salt and pepper.
Bring to a roiling boil. Stir until butter is melted. Add flour, all
at once. Stir to make a thick ball of dough that clings together.
Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat until dough is satiny smooth. Mix
in cheese. Generously grease a baking sheet. Spoon 6 mounds of dough
onto sheet in a ring formation, close enough so that they touch each
other. Bake at 375~ for 55-60 minutes or until golden brown. Serve
hot with sweet butter. For breakfast serve with jam or preserves.
