Food Tip |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together flour, baking powder,
baking soda, allspice and nutmeg. Set aside.
In separate bowl, combine maple syrup, butter and eggs, and beat with
electric mixer for 3 minutes. By hand, stir in yams, apples, walnuts,
raisins, cream and marmalade.
Add flour mixture a little at a time, stirring well after each
addition; batter will be stiff.
Serves: Pour into lightly oiled 9 x 5-inch
loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees 60-70 minutes.
