Melt butter with sugar in top of double boiler.
1 egg, well beaten Add to the above and cook until thick (about 20
min.)
Cool thoroughly.
Whip 1/2 pint of heavy cream. Add 4 Tbsp. brandy or rum to cooled
mixture. Blend in cream.
