Heat milk in top of double boiler over boiling water. In a small
bowl stir sugar, flour, salt and egg. Pour into hot milk stirring
until thickened and mixture coats metal spoon. Remove from heat Cool
stirring occasionally. When cool stir in bananas and vanilla.
