1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup onions, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp garlic, minced
1 can veg-all mixed vegetables, drained (, 16 oz)
1 tsp thyme, dried
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup beer or water
1 can beef broth (12 oz)

Spiced Beef Roast Directions

1. Melt margarine in skillet; brown beef.

2. Add flour and mix well.

3. Add onions, garlic spices, sugar, beer or water, and broth.

4. Place casserole dish in 350'F. oven. Cook 1-1/2 hours until meat is
tender, adding VEG-ALL 15 minutes before completion.

5. Remove whole bay leaf and serve.

Serves: 6
