“Food for all is a necessity. Food should not be a merchandise, to be bought and sold as jewels are bought and sold by those who have the money to buy. Food is a human necessity, like water and air, it should be available.”

Food Tip
Leftovers should never be at room temperature for more than 2 hours. They should be refrigerated quickly. Refrigerators are designed to accommodate changes in temperatures. Alhough plastic wrap may prevent contact with other food and bacteria, it will not prevent growth of bacteria already in or on the food if left out at room temperature.

Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow you may work.

Barbecued Beef Directions

Combine ingredients in slow cooker; cover. Cook on low for 4 to 6
hours, depending on how well done you want meat. Remove bay leaf
before serving. Serve by itself or on rolls. To save time, use meat
that has been cut up for stir fry. If you're cutting your own, it's
easier if the meat is slightly frozen when you slice it.

Serves: 4
